On 21st February 2026, Nabaprayas Yuva Sangha in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Golaghat, organized an awareness programme on wildlife, environmental, and forest laws at the Morongi Block Auditorium.
With communities situated near biodiversity-rich corridors, the seminar addressed practical legal provisions governing forest protection, anti-poaching measures, and human-wildlife conflict safeguards.
Legal experts and resource persons clarified official procedures for seeking crop and property damage relief, helping demystify legal channels for local farmers and tea garden residents.
The initiative forged closer cooperation between local youth, village councils, and legal authorities to safeguard the regional ecosystem responsibly and peacefully.
