Our Story
How a group of rural youth in Assam decided to turn untapped potential into community progress.
In 2017, Nabaprayas Yuva Sangha began in Purajanghal, Morangi Mouza, Golaghat, Assam, with a simple but powerful realization: talent exists everywhere, but opportunity, guidance and the right platform do not.
Growing up and working closely with rural communities, we witnessed a significant gap in communication, exposure and access to opportunities. We saw young people with talent, ambition and determination, but many lacked the guidance, resources and platforms needed to transform their potential into achievement.
We also saw communities with talented and capable people who were willing to contribute, but often remained unorganized and disconnected from wider opportunities.
These experiences inspired the formation of Nabaprayas Yuva Sangha. Our purpose has always been to create pathways through which rural youth and communities can discover their potential, develop their capabilities and participate more confidently in the wider world.

From our initial steps in Golaghat, Nabaprayas has steadily grown through hands-on community engagement. Rather than operating from a distance, our path is built alongside young people, local families, and public institutions.

Under this founding vision, Nabaprayas Yuva Sangha has evolved from a grassroots village youth club into a registered societal force uniting rural youth across 135+ villages in Assam.
